TikTok could be sold to Microsoft and Walmart partnership within 48 hours
I think this is Facebook disrupting tiktok by manipulating the trump admin to force the us sale, it disrupts the service and if Walmart and MS buy it, then the new owners will bring a new direction and Facebook is undermining its competition, especially since it appears to have a competitor called reels coming out in September.Force the sale and you cut off the head of your competition. New management means, like I said above, new direction, and the once hot company falls out of relevancy -
TikTok could be sold to Microsoft and Walmart partnership within 48 hours
dr. x said:I don't get why Wal-Mart would buy it, what is in it for them as they are a store food chain not an online video sharing service.
walmart has a very strong advertising arm and this would fall under that probably. They can use this to sell and advertise product directly to customers (mainly teens) based Off there video habits.

Epic Games to hold 'FreeFortnite Cup' as part of anti-Apple campaign
foregoneconclusion said:Epic will end up doing what Apple asked them to do: resolve the violations so that their account is not terminated while the lawsuit moves forward. The courts aren't going to grant Epic an injunction when the previous status quo = Epic making millions on iOS.I disagree: epic will not back down, see epic thinks if they go this path, there “Loyal” customers will ditch there IPhones and go to android just for fortnite. Or they will play the game on there console or non Apple device.See epic thinks it can hurt Apple. How many people will switch ecosystems over a game?

Epic Games CEO says Apple suit is about 'basic freedoms,' calls Apple a middleman
Xed said:I agree with him. Apple is a middleman to Epic's software. This is why I fully support Epic in creating their own game console so they can sell Forknife directly to customers the way Nintendo does on their Switch.
He also has been outspoken for over 3 years about this. Why did he wait til now to pull this? Why not do it in 2017? Or 2018? Or 2019?
