Survivability also depends on how the iPhone landed, I think it has a better chance of surviving such a fall if it hit the ground on a corner or a side. Also your not taking into account wind factor. The phone will have a better chance of surviving if there was wind to slow down velocity.

It’s not about whether Steve Jobs was right or wrong. Steve was pushing what he thought was best for his newest product. The IPhone which had very little RAM and 8GB of storage. So he sided with the script that would make his product work better for his customers.

I think apple may have solved the crease issue. If it comes out with a folding phone it won’t have a crease line.“Thin metal lines imperceptible to the naked eye” put it another way… thin microLED lines….
