But all these new games for the PSP will still work on the PSP1000 from five years ago, how confident are you that you could say the same with the iPhone in three years time?
Depends on the install base of older machines. Let's be honest, it's not THAT hard to target both the ARM11/PowerVR MBX Lite and AMR CortexA8/PowerVR SGX today.
In three years time the ARM11 iPod Touches MIGHT be out of luck for some games (FPS and the like) but the gen 3 A8/SGX will be fully supported. In 2010 we can expect single core A9s appearing. 2011-12 multicore A9.
For casual games the gen 1 and gen 2 touches will be fine. More importantly, in 2011-2012 your current games will likely still run on your new iPhone. Which you got anyway since your 3GS contract expired.

Could they rip of Loco Roco any more?
There's no game like Loco Roco!

Sorry, but Real Racing is nowhere near GT or Forza games. Yes, I've tried it.
Yes, Resistance is PS exclusive. Gameplay is, I'd say, more like Gears of War than Halo though.
Tried that too. Not bad but not as good either. Big margin...
