Too many people are saying Air Force is going to win for Air Force to actually pull it off. It makes me very very very sad but ND will win.

I am also very interested in how UT rebounds from the OU loss, I'm hoping we come out pissed and kick the kittycats in the balls.

I think OU will lose to ISU. Although I want OU to lose every game they ever play, I think ISU actually has a shot. It's not like the land thieves are juggernauts at home.

Just watched Boise State/Fresno State. Damn, that field is ugly!

Magicfingers, this bet takes on a whole new face if we have to type the dang thing out each time we make a post!

    Go Falcons!

Well, that was just brutal.

ISU played about as bad on offense as they possibly could against the best D I've seen for a long time.

Seneca could have been on his game, they still wouldn't have had a shot today. I think the combination of all the Heisman hype plus the general terror the OU D provides had him playing like someone else.

Maybe I'm just shell-shocked, but based on the last two weeks, does the gap between the Sooners and 'Canes seem not great as it did early in the year?

Oh, well, I remember 0-11 too well to get depressed by the occasional drubbing by a quality team on the road.

I'm hoping for a good bounce back next week, I see the Longhorns had a tough one again today. They were my National Title pick at the start of the season!

At least ND/USAF is still close! >fingers crossed<

Notre Dame 21, Air Force 14!

    Just not my day!

It was a fun, old-school physical game, though.

Haven't seen the Irish's remaining schedule, but looking at the earlier posts in this thread, MagicFingers may be the real Nostradamus!

At least the signatures came back just in time-I HAVE always dug the ND fight song, especially the sweet A Capella version they had during Rudy.

he-he...yes it was and old-school physical game.

ND's run defence was awesome, and they had a great effort running the ball themselves.

AF was simply overpowered by the bigger ND players,

the stats really show this. 104yds rushing for AF...they average 339, great ND defence.

335yds for ND on the ground, that proves my overpowered point.

Next week ND has an away game at Florida St.(uh-oh) they also still have to go to USC and Navy. Home games left are Rutgers and Boston College.

Looks like a 10-2 season to me, but you never know.

Maybe, if im feeling froggy, I'll let you redeem yourself with the FSU game next week.

I dunno, the Irish will probably be favored in all those games with the possible exception of FSU, won't they? And that trip isn't nearly as scary this year.

Watching those Act I, Act II features during the ESPN broadcast has me believeing the magic is back!

wow. that was perhaps the most dominating performance on both sides of the ball i have ever seen by an oklahoma team considering how good the cyclones had been playing up until yesterday. if we can win out the rest of the season, i don't think there will be a team that can beat us for either the big 12 or the national championship. that defense is smothering and our offense just keeps getting better and better. i'm totally jazzed right now. hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the foot and let off the intesity that i saw yesterday. go sooners.

bummer about the af - notre dame game. as much as i hate to admit it, notre dame is playing some tough ball right now. would love to see them getting knocked down a couple of notches though.

ESPN still has Senica ranked as #1 for the Heisman? And yes, It's been updated. I know one game dosn't make the season, but most of the anouncer were saying, "through out the Heisman". I just find it odd.

Odd? I find it darn near laughable!

I love the guy, he may be the best football player (forgive me, Troy Davis!) in Cyclone history, but I can't imagine any way he's winning that thing now!

Oh, I meant to give props to the Sooner fans in my post after the game. (I hope Groverat's head doesn't explode when he reads this.)

I sat near some at the game in Ames in '99 and they were really knowledgeable, cool guys.

I thought that came across on TV Saturday. A lot of crowds only pop for the big plays, especially on offense. The OU crowd even gets rowdy when the Sooners force a 3 and out. They seem to appreciate what they have with that defense.

Crowds that know football know that you're supposed to be loudest on defense, especially on third downs. The (inbred, sister-humping) Okies know football and their (godforsaken, stump-sucking) coaches are football masters.

I think crowds that are quiet on defense and loud on offense don't know much about the game.

    >cough!<November 23>hack!<

Sorry, just a force of habit! I can see them running the table, easy.

But if Oklahoma and Miami are undefeated at the end of the season, won't that be the matchup?

    OSU loses at least one.

Miami and OU(sucks) will run the table and OU(sucks) wins their 2nd NC in 3 years, that's my prediction as of 10/20/02 - 12:34 a.m. Central. Bob Stoops is a football maniac and I pray the Dallas Cowboys give him $10 million/year to coach and kill two birds with one stone for groverat's happiness: improve the Cowboys and hurt the OU(sucks) football team.

Damn Bob Stoops And His Rugged Good Looks!

that was very sweet of you. hugs and kisses.

as much as stoops want's to eventually end up in the NFL, i doubt the cowboys will ever get the likes of a coach as bob as long as j.j. is owner/general manager. tampa gets gruden, we are stuck with campo. bummer.

thanks jeffyboy. don't worry about the ratster, he's used to it by now. that was one of the loudest games i've been to in norman.

Seneca may still have shot at the heisman if he can rebound from this weekend and finish strong. that would show some real character. i hope he does.
