    Don't rationalize it.
Apple streams FaceTime, iTunes Radio, iTunes previews, multi-gigabyte 1080p movies to AppleTV, and iTunes Music Match every day.
Only trolls looking for a cheap shot will complain repeatedly about one failed live stream.

    1) I haven't gotten the trolling vibe as of yet.

    2) Their iTunes Store downloads are inherently different kinds of media. Only FaceTime's A/V would be comparable and that's a point-to-point connection which is also inherently different from their single-point-to-multi-point live stream (note: I'm not talking about multicast IP). This isn't easy stuff which is probably why there ware multiple conflicting reasons for why this issue occurred this last time while being a success in the past. I'm sure some people have lost their jobs over it. Regardless of fault being directly with Apple or not it's Apple's problem.

    3) I don't think they'll not do a live stream for the October event because of the issue with the September event.

FU don't be obtuse you clearly understand my comment.

I honestly don't see how Apple fucking up makes you look bad. When that happened I certainly wasn't shaking my fist and thinking, "What has ibeam done this time?!"

In certain regards, they are. In others, they aren't.

It doesn't have anything to do with you. I recommend Apple to all my co-workers and peers. Likewise UNIX. I have been taking a lot of heat in recent weeks on both fronts. Apparently some people around here  think I am anti-Apple. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I criticize where I see fault but it doesn't change my loyalty to Apple. Often I just wish they would do a better job like in the recent iOS upgrade. It is especially aggravating whenever the media attention characterizes them in a negative light Then I am faced with defending them in my circle of associates and friends.

If Samsung has proved anything, is that they're very good at putting out garbage with lipstick.  If PayPal wants to partner-up with a loser-company like Samsung, be my guest.  I have zero intention of using PayPal once ApplePay is up and running.

Five bucks that PayPal with dump Samsung the first chance it gets.

Very difficult because Samsung could have deposited some cash into his swiss account.

The problem is you evangelizing to others. If someone asks you what you prefer or why, go ahead and tell them, but always conclude with some statement that they should get what suits their needs best. Unless you're having to specifically work on their devices there is absolutely no reason to tell people what to buy.

Complete nonsense. I am the go to guru in my work place. They come to me for every computer question, They mostly have Macs, iPads and iPhones. The office is all Windows but if they need to buy a device for home or for a relative, college student they always come to me for advice.

Again, then you need to stop giving advice if you're going to feel responsible for the actions of a company you don't operate.

That's exactly my point which is why you need to stop if you feel this connected to a for-profit company.

You are losing this debate, You cannot characterize me as an Apple hater, so you now want to label me as some syntactically challenged and confused  zealot  for Apple. You can't have it both ways. I'm an Apple fan plain and simple.

I never labeled you as either. You're the one that stated how it's, "embarrassing when they screw up because it makes me look bad, being such an Apple apologist." Go ahead and be an evangelist if you want but don't complain when the for-profit company you've admitted to worshipping has the inevitable issue. Do you not see how utterly crazy that sounds?!

Shut up and go away. Said it before, just as valid now. There is no debate. You are manufacturing a belief based on your own shortcomings. Get over it or get used to it.

    Then you’re an embarrassment thereto.

And that is some way not understandable to you? I advocate Apple - Apple gets bad media reports - I try to defend Apple . How is that a problem for you?

    False flag: disowned, disavowed.

That and they’re garbage, likely to lose people’s information in the first place.

PayPal cannot die fast enough, IMO.

So, with all due respect, maybe you conveniently forgot that the video is available online and has been since 24 hours after the live presentation.

Apple doesn't need evangelists. It's no longer 1996.
