Unbelievable. Shattering expectations is Tim's calling card now.

Record high ASPs for iPhones, record low ASPs for iPads. Apple might as well rename the company to iPhone, Inc.

Folks don't tend to upgrade their iPads with nearly as much frequency as some might like to think.   *shrugs*

    Phones are a different story.

Please don't reinforce analysts' self-aggrandizing language.  When companies' results differ from analysts forecasts, it's the latter, not the former that missed.  iPad did not miss, analysts' forecasts missed.

I think that this whole year will be more of the same, like this ...

Apple's smaller divisions make more $ than most other companies on earth so i wouldn't get too upset.

Stocks almost always drop after revenue announcements. Its just the natural order, they are only so high because people buy in hardcore right before earnings so they can cash in. Then they sell. Att may have only stayed the same or risen because they are also on the verge of aquiring directv which will boost shareholder values.
