Waiting for the iRing. Then the iImplant.
And why would you leave your phone at home?
What I recall someone say, perhaps even Tim, is that you go out for a morning jog and pick up a bottle of water at the market, without the need to take your phone. Not a lot of places to conveniently carry a phone in a pair of running shorts.
And assuming Tim was talking real water proofing with his shower comment, I would wear my ?Watch surfing, a place where I don't currently take my phone, and would then be able to buy coffee after.
There are any number of reasons why you might chose not to take your phone with you.
My mom is 84. She has an iPhone and an iPad. I'm thinking of getting her an ?Watch so she doesn't have to take her phone out of her pockets. But not sure yet because of the recharge requirements -- if she forgets to charge it, or put it on, then what good does it do her. And Her hands shake.
So do people with Parkinson's. I bet Michael J Fox has an iPhone too.
This is the most desperate argument I've heard so far.

Right? Who the **** charges her iPad and iPhone? If not her, then why can't they also make sure her ?Watch is charged. If her, then why can't she make sure her ?Watch is charged?
Hey, lay off of Slurpy. About the only antidote we get here to B. Frost's bilious poison is Slurpy giving him what for.
You'll notice that he does not call him any names, but merely tells the truth about Frost's polluting of this forum. We have had no worse a troll in the five years i've been around here, and no better, more bracing tongue-lasher than Slurpy. I say you ought to put away your wet noodle.
I appreciate that. I can understand why a new poster might think my responses are harsh, but that context changes once they realize that I'm responding to someone that has amassed 6000+ posts of trolling, never-ending, shameless lies, and much worse (ugly bigotry, racism, xenophobia, and denigrating entire groups of people.)
Anyone who has been here a while and is aware BF's posting history would agree that my responses are appropriate at worst, and mild at best. Eventually you have to call a spade a spade, especially towards someone who has demonstrated a complete lack of contempt for basic decency and honesty.

But not eceryone with a disparaging comment toward Apple, no matter how misguided or how much they mirror common troll talking points, is a troll.
If we're unfamiliar with a poster's history it may be good for us (not just you) to ask some leading questions, first, in a worthwhile discussion (carrot) before we resort to other methods (stick).
I know it can get frustrating when you see the same BS argument for the nth-teen time that derails an otherwise interesting discussion, but it's still our fault if we don't first try to use reason and civil discourse to figure out why or how they came to such an erroneous conclusion.

I don't call anyone who disparages Apple a troll. We're talking about BF here. I can sort the trolls from the reasonable critics.

Oh, I thought this was about [@]coolfactor[/@]. My bad.
With BF, I finally realized there was nothing I could say that could lead to an honest and open discussion, so I put him on ban list. Every time Tim Cook, civil rights, iPhone 6, or ?Watch was mentioned it was the same inimical, one-way talking points.
if one wears your watch and u authenticate it with your phone … And then the person takes your phone and walks away .. He will be able to make purchases…. Where as if he Walkes away with just your phone he wont be able to make any purchases without your finger print authentication.
Unless .. Somehow the watch knows whos hand it is on there seems to be a small/ tiny crack in the process.. But unlikly someone can take advantage of it ..

Why would they be wearing your ?Watch? Why would you allow the pairing and authentication on your iPhone if someone else was wearing your ?Watch?
I'm really a big fan of the sports version, lime green sports band. Suits my lifestyle and if I'm going to have one might as well make sure everyone sees it.
The only version that confuses me is 18k gold. Seems like gold that soft can get scratched easily. Not as soft as 24k but 14k may have been the best option.
This is the most desperate argument I've heard so far.
And the funny thing is, it isn't even an argument. It's a statement of fact. You just think it is because you're not bothering to read the context, and likely don't care.
Although my profile shows me as being on Appleinsider since 2012, I've actually be on Appleinsider since the first day - or pretty close.
Anyway, this site forums have denigrated into an unpleasant place to visit.
You have a coterie of fans and then everyone else.
There is no guidance or moderation on Appleinsider.
MacRumors, on the other hand, is intolerable. About seven out of ten posters are Apple haters or at least hold the company in contempt.
You said earlier that you don't get treated well here unless you "drink the Kool-Aid." That's missing the point. You don't get treated well if you seem to be grinding an axe against Apple. Reasonable criticism is acceptable and happens all the time.

Bibi? We're not resorting to name calling, are we?
Now that's funny.
Would you show me where you're attacked because you wished Apple would do something a little different?
Bogarting the essence of a line from The Big Bang Theory: "Shit for brains attacks even more."
And assuming Tim was talking real water proofing with his shower comment, I would wear my ?Watch surfing, a place where I don't currently take my phone, and would then be able to buy coffee after.

Or not...
I wont respond to Mr Frosty until Apple sells 15. Million watches and he has to ban himself.
Did he actually agree to that? And even if he did, you think there's a chance in hell he would keep his word? Why would he?
