But seriously, I was talking about the speed with which you can pay.

NFC hyjacking is almost impossible, a device must be as close as a few cm to be able to power the card.

When your paranoid, you can buy a rfc shielded wallet (you have to add a second or so to your payment time).

When I lose my wallet - which never happend to me by the way - I can immediately block my account with my iPhone (that's usefull) so nothing to worry.

I can also limit the amount of money that can be transferred and the bank covers my loss if all goes wrong.

So, no risk at all and extremely convenient.

There are a lot of people also using Google Wallet. Like them, I am guessing that you're probably someone who, given the size and frequency of purchases, does not have too many concerns about security in your retail transactions. That's cool. Whatever works for you.

I expect, and finally have from Apple, a higher level of security. There's nothing paranoid about it -- it's simply that some people have lower expectations, and that's perfectly fine.

it does not need gps to track you as christy turlington burns has said in her blog on apples sight. To quote her words:

I hear you, I understood that the first time, I believe her.
    But my point still stands.

    History is proof of that.

Ha ha. After all, your handle says that you know it all. And it's on the internets. So it must be true.

I will use it because it is save and convienient in a practical sense.
I might use APay for a large purchase, when it is available, but my point is it isn't a selling point for the AWatch.

I am sure it won't be for some folks, e.g., you, like I just said. Especially those who stupidly believe that security is positively associated with the size of a transaction. <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

You're probably more likely to get your privacy ripped off at a Dollar Store than at a Tiffany's. But hey, what do I know, I don't know it all.

    (Fixed a few typos).

At some point, you're just going to have to shrug and move on, I am guessing. Apple forums never cease to provide an endless supply of weirded-out types. Take one out and three seem to pop up to take their place.

    Sigh....

No security is not necessarily related to the transaction size (never said it was), but the consequences are when the security is breached.
Perhaps you are to stupid to understand the difference.

Really? Do you think before you post? In your previous post, you said you would use something that is "save [sic] and convenient.." and then said you "might use APay [sic] for large purchases..."

Hmm... so what is the purported connection between safety and purchase size that you're alluding to?

I never block anyone regardless of bad, silly, poorly argued, poorly written, or trollish their posts. Never have, and don't plan to start now.

    You're right. My apologies.
