hey paul...really liking the AFI you have...is that old stuff??
thanks g
What album is it? If it's Black Sails, it owns. Anything else cowers in shame. (A good, but not as good, kind of shame) That was the only CD I had in my car stereo rotation all last summer.

Hehe... And to think the classics (including 7Gb of Bach) are in a different library... ;-)
Quite a few artists (Zappa, Dylan, Beatles, Stones, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, Van Morrisson, Elvis Costello and more) are pretty much complete.
I'm running a 7800/512 ADSL connection here, so theoretically up to four users can stream music. I'll leave it on for the weekend - just for fun.. :-)
Well even 7800/512 would be problematic. Ten-twenty streams from different areas on your HD?
If five people try to connect it would give problems for everybody. iTunes doesn´t handle bandtwith sharing very good. All five would suffer. Better keep it private (like between you, a few friends and ...err...me)
Paul: the music in on an old G3 server (beige with 2*80Gb and 2*120Gb... :-)) that is hidden inside a closet. All music is played over the network, so all playlists and recently played listings are on the local Macs. Rendezvous is a godsent for this setup - never again maintaining multiple libraries or see them crash when opened over the network...
thegelding: I'm a neat-freak regarding the MP3 collection. ID3X is my closest friend - everything is checked before adding to the library. I'd hate to 'lose' songs because of bad categorization. Don't worry though - my desk is a mess most of the time...
Your age theory, interesting as it is, is failing on me - I'm 'only' 33. I just like good music I guess - or am I giving away too many clues to deep dark secrets already... ;-)

Just checked the booklet, 1999.
I believe the order is something like;
Answer That and Stay Fashionable first
Very Proud of Ya
Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes
Black Sails in the Sunset
Art of Drowning
Sing the Sorrow last
I'm pretty sure. The first two may have been switched, but I'm doubtful of it.

What's worse? That I have Died In Your Arms Tonight? Or that someone is listening to it?

Do the internet backbone run through your computer? If not then I suggest you do not distribute your adress too many places.
A couple more of your type of collections and we do not need the AMS at all.
Even if you pull your adress from here please let the connection stay up. I am already addicted to your collection.
Please :begging smilie:

It took like 10 minutes to scroll through the thing!
