If it is to be as big a deal as other places (e.g. Macrumors.com) say it is to be, then there has to be some sort of "event" of which we have heard nothing.
If this is a big change in the iPod that would require a small conference then I dougt it will be announced when the war starts... perhaps the war is the reason for the delay....
It?s our fourth anniversary, and thanks to your support, the Apple Store continues to be the premier place to shop for Mac systems, accessories and software. We are pleased to offer you this special discount of £30* off your next order of £299* or more (valid until 31/03/03).

Apple will not want to release a product on the day the US goes to war. They will recieve zero publicity.

Yeah I was hoping for it today, but next week isn't that far and the promotion should be over by then...

Has anyone noticed that it has changed from "Significant Holiday demand" to "Significant demand"?

Yeah that's such bull...they better have something really slick coming out to keep on telling us that it's "unavailable" for over two months...

A can of coca-cola blew up on my iPod today.
So I went to my Apple Store. No 10GB iPods. No estimated arrival date.
So I then went to a CompUsa. No 10GB iPods. None on order.
Something is up.
Hope springs eternal,
iPodlessly,
