CL2 does give you better performance than CL3. Irrespective of the motherboard's other technology.

I just ordered a 933 (can't afford a dual) I have been waiting for a while, my last mac was a Power Computing 210mhz, and my main comp now is a P3 450. Maby i have not used a fast mac in a while but i was very impressed with the G4 867 when i played with it yesterday in the store, so the 933 i think will kick some major 1's and 0's for me

Not sure, doesn't say really (I assume you mean the one that came with the G4) It's an 80gig ST380021A The DFMTable device model.

yea, I really needed a new mac and i was tired of waiting. If you can wait, wait. But i dont think G5's are untill MWNY cuz the powerbooks are deff next, and they will want to make a really big deal out of the G5 and what better place than MWNY

Still transefering over my old drives. The bad thing about "target disk mode' is that it only recognizes your first drive. So thank god I have a 20gig firewire thin drive for my iBook.
The pics are taken and my wife is uploading them to her iMac, sge's cropping away in iPhoto, hehe
Shouldn't be much longer.
As for waiting for the G5, I weighed that option, but I really wanted the Cinema display. Also, I figure a good 6-12 months with this and if the G5 is out i can always put it up on eBay. Also, if I hold out a year+ think about where the g5 will be, 2.0ghz+ , if not near a G6

The CL3 is 2megs.
But, I am going to hold out for the G5. Makes zero sense to go from a G4 to another G4 for me anyways.
The GeForce 4 MX is sweet but I have a Radeon 8500 on order for mine.
I can wait 6 months to a year.
