Just wanted to post a note asking that you put up some pics of the inside of your machine. I ordered one and now have to wait for it to be built. Could you include a pic of a dwarf holding a potato? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
Hey KidRed and the rest of you, just wanted to say I did the same today and drove the hour and a half to the Apple store in Illinois. I bought a Dual gig and the final cut pro 3 update. The thing that really sucked though was that Illinois has 8.25 sales tax as opposed to my 5.65 sales tax in Wisconsin. I paid about 110 dollars extra and had to deliver it myself, LOL. So I am an idiot, but I got it and am settin it up tonight. I will run some simple Quake tests tomorrow or as soon as I can. Now I have to sell my Dual G4 450 with superdrive and other extras on ebay. Hope I dont get creamed too bad on it.

You can't show them your drivers license and pay the lower tax? That is what all us Oregon residents do when we buy stuff in Washington. (no sales tax here, flash an ID there and no sales tax as well).

Ya it's great. Drive up to Vancouver's Dick Hannah Auto Mall (where they simply sell for less) and pay no tax. Great stuff

She's cool with it. I'm an artist, so I've had nude male and female models since I was in in high school (school of the arts). I also draw comic books, most of which were for mature readers, so when I got into web design the adult industry didn't seem that far off from what I was used to. You can work for a design company and get paid ok weekly doing non adult stuff, or do adult sites which pay a lot more and work by yourself at home like I do.
It took me a year or so, but I'm one of the top 5 adult designers (not bragging just relaying what everyone keeps telling me). That is nearly impossible to do in the non adult web site design world, especailly if you work by yourself.

Ti Fighter- Yes, they are Apollos. Even if G5's miracously come out in july, my machine won't be anywhere near obsolete. I'm coming from a G4 450. That's a 3 year old machine that I still could've worked on. And, I'm selling it to a PC friend of mine who was told "if you do music get a mac", so he wants one. So the G4 will last a while longer.

Well, a lot I have dozens of clients and depending on how many sites they order, I have to content for each site. So between all the pics I have, I also have all the photoshop files for all the sites. So it does add up
