Remember right before the G5 powermac came out... there was a fake image that was supposed to be a crude photo copy of it and people were debating whether or not it was real... so the guys over at Macrumors had some trusted sources look at it and they said it wasn't legit... can the appleinsider crew do that with this?
I think we need to start a contest to see who can create the best looking fake combining real life objects, rendered objects and Photoshop. Something to do until the real thing arrives.

i'm voting for a fake, for one simple reason...if it were the real iMac, no one would be able to see it by now. apple legal would've had it taken down. think about it, apple is not about to let another new iMac design leak before they can officially release it...not after what happened with the LCD iMac and Time...
It hasn't really leaked tho. No one is even claiming it is real.
This is why some rumor site needs to put it up saying it is real then see if it is taken down.
The other thing is.. if they make them take it down we know it is real.

There's no way Apple would design something that ugly. Also, about Charles de Galle Airport, I've seen cargo areas for it before, and the elevators do not have that ugly black spots!

I'm always amazed how awesome some people are at Photoshop. Great job whoever created this! But still, there is not way someone could photoshop the above image, it's just a hoax.
sigh. and i thought for once we would find out the design ahead of time. Better luck in January!
Hmm... Well I'm not sure if I can post a link from another forum, or if me posting this link is going to get me kicked out of something, but since so many people are wondering... I might as well put it up.
If this is what the iMac G5 TRULY looks like, then I guess the Pic isn't that far off... That post seems realistic enough, it looks like something Apple would do.
