I would reinstall Mac OS X, again, on your MacBook and then use Bootcamp if you want to have Windows Vista installed, too. Less trouble this way.

Perhaps I could be mistaken, but doesn't Apple have to disclose to the FCC 6 months in advance if they are coming out with a new version of the iPhone. Or does this not really apply since it will probably be the same phone only with 3G abilities?

One of the reasons you will need the optical drive accessory is if you plan to install Windows on the MBA. I think I read somewhere that you won't be able to use remote disk with bootcamp.
