Too short! Jonathan's right; looks too PC-ish. Needs some real clean-upping. To tell the truth, a G4 Sphere would be pretty cool. But I don't think that's coming for a while.

Why not use the human magnetic field? Yeah, maybe in a few decades. More seriously, hydrogen fuel cells will definitely be the wave of the future in electrical technology. Wouldn't it be great? Recharge your PowerBook and have a drink! I commend …

NiCad batteries!!! Just kidding. I like the hydrogen fuel cell idea, though. Until you drop it and it explodes.

Apple doesn't need to make a subnotebook! They should make a pair of augmented-reality goggles (that look like stylish sunglasses, of course), a little wireless programmable control stick, and voice command. Now THAT would be the ultimate portable. …

The MiniDiscs I see record a full 80 minutes of raw audio. How's that less? Personally, I'd be willing to pay a little more for a MiniDisc that fits in my pocket.

I'd still have to argue that the best portable is an augmented-reality headset. A little pen-sized control stick that fits in your pocket helps you navigate. Includes a push-sensitive scroll wheel (I liked that idea), a few programmable buttons, and…

Huh? What model??? Any model, you sons of a silly person!

Hardware wise, I'd be fine with either a substantial speed bump (clock speed regardless) or a slight speed bump and a price reduction. Of course, I'd rather have the former. However, I will be wholly disappointed if there is not some sort of Mac …

That's the most unconvincing load of BS I have ever read. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating there, but it's still obviously a fake.

If they can somehow push the G3 past 700MHz, you'll most likely see updates after MWNY. If they're holding back to upgrade to G4, I'd have to say early-to-mid 2003, just by virtue of the G5's anticipated release. Apple is not crazy enough to release…

I would think that a G4 iBook would render it useless in its consumer market. The iBook is in fact targeted mainly to students, who need a compact computer rather than a big, heavy hot rod. Nobody's going to go Photoshopping with an iBook anyway. …

You know, that makes me think (a miracle!). Maybe Gates and his cronies watch the AI forums for ideas to top Apple. Agh, I hope not. We'd be seeing Microsoft PornTablets all over the electronics stores. That'd put Apple out of business for good.

I wasn't aware that Apple did not release an Ink SDK. That is weird. Maybe they're waiting until Jaguar is released to release an SDK, but why?

technologies mature (e-ink, OLED etc) we will see high resolution screens EVERYWHERE, and they all need a GPU. If this works they'll be bigger than Intel by the end of the decade. Bonus is we all get wall sized 200dpi displays, and..

As for this supposed "iMac design flaw," I find nothing wrong. When the new iMac "sticks out its tongue" (I swear, this is going to become a popular term, kinda like Windows 95 making the term "X-out the window" common usage) the tray opens out abov…

Apple will go for simplicity, so I don't see a pull-out Inkwell pad. Maybe a separate peripheral as a Pro option? Speaking of Inkwell, I posted earlier of my bewilderment at Apple's failure to introduce an Ink SDK. I think I get it now. Not to go of…
