Do these companies ever learn anything? Never ever run ads insulting your potential customers. It's marketing 101. The only exception would be John Hodgman who actually came across as likable.

I'm pretty sure Creative tried this same ad strategy against the iPod and quickly discovered that mocking your potential customer base is a horrible idea.
