I go to Canada for a few days, and look what happens! I wonder what my post count is now...

This was also discussed back in January here.

System preferences --> Accounts --> Startup Items tab --> click the '+' button, select iCal, then the Hide checkbox

Here is a site with lots of startup sounds: http://home.golden.net/~samu/maccour...rtupStuff.html

The blue iTunes logo was the best. That is the one I am using now.

Quote: BZXKC9IMPX You just made my day. BTW, do you live in Portland? I was there over the weekend, and the only winners I could find at the 7-11 were a pair of Diet Pepsis in the back of the freezer.

The battery is right to the left of the RAM slots, so if you take out the RAM, it shouldn't be overly difficult to replace the battery. The battery itself should be about $10 at Radioshack or wherever.

WTF? My time stamp reset again, to 2:35 PM (when I was in school). That is when the "Momentum product brief references PowerPC 970FX" thread was posted in News Comments.

It looks like our time stamps are being reset every time the News Comments forum gets a new thread. The "Apple set to deploy new Logic Platinum software" thread appeared at 12:25 EST (9:25 where I am).

I have an Epson CX5200, which has worked prefectly since last January. The scanning software originally didn't work, but they released an update, so now it prints, scans, and copies just fine.

There is a VGA port on the back, and the RAM will work as long as it is fast enough (right now I have 128 and 512 chips next to each other, and everything works fine).

This is definitely what the iWrite is.

There is a survey about Uru here . If you say that you have not puchased it yet, they will ask you why and you can say that you are "waiting for a Mac® version."

Quote: From http://www.turborodent.com/marmot/baibacina.shtml: These marmots do not breed for the first three years of their life Does this have anything to do with OS X being three years old? Is it going to start breeding now?

We have an Epson CX5200 that scans, copies, and prints. It works well, but is kind of noisy when it loads paper. Otherwise, it is very good.
