Tips: How to perform 15 different swipes & gestures for navigation on an iPhone

Tips: How to perform 15 different swipes & gestures for navigation on an iPhone
SpamSandwich said:I went to an Apple Store recently and tried the newer’no Home button’ models. I found the lack of that button incredibly frustrating for navigation and I literally broke out in a sweat when I couldn’t figure out how to get out of an app.
Conclusion: Sorry, but I do not like the new iPhones and there’s no way I’m buying a new iPad Pro now due to the same hobbling of the user experience.
After having the X for a couple days, picking up my 2017 iPad Pro 12.9” felt archaic and cumbersome. I truly started to hate it. I simply LOVE my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” because of the lack of the home button. -
PSA: Be sure to try your USB-C hub on your iPad Pro before buying a new one

Qualcomm wins import & sales ban on iPhones shipping with iOS 11 in China
NY1822 said:CNBC has been fumbling this story, maybe you can clarify some details. IOS 12 was released in September 2017. The iphone 8/ 8 Plus/ X were also released September 2017. Does this mean since they are shipping with IOS 12 they skirt the ban? So then this would only apply to the 6/ 6S/ 7 line?
Also, Apple is saying all models are still available for sale in China. -
Why the end of unit sales reporting of Macs, iPhone, and iPad isn't bad news for Apple

I’m all for Apple no longer providing unit sales data but if they’re going to stop providing it they need to come up with better metrics and a more compelling narrative. Otherwise the narrative becomes Apple stopped providing this data because they’re not growing and they won’t be able to raise prices to offset the lack of unit growth forever. How about Apple provide information on active install base and average revenue per user?
