  • Bob Iger says his return to Disney was inspired by Steve Jobs' Apple recovery

Hearing Iger comparing himself to Steve Jobs. Really? That's like if Donald Trump compared himself to Abraham Lincoln. Multiple times. Oh, wait a minute…
    Think before you write.

Iger did not compare himself to Steve, he says he was “inspired by” him and “looked to” his example for guidance and the lessons he’s using to manage his return (in “very different circumstances”).

Which is an example of why Iger is a respected leader.

I don’t believe that Donald Trump has ever looked to anyone for lessons or inspiration. He doesn’t need it. He’s the best at everything and the best that has ever existed. (That’s why he’s so insecure and has no compass.) And if you don’t agree that he is the best, you’re a liar and a scoundrel and politically motivated and probably a RINO.

If you want to make a Donald comparison, consider Donald Duck telling Mickey Mouse that ‘no, you were not Walt’s favorite,” and that it is HE, Donald, that is the most cartoonish… The best cartoonish character ever in history.
But Donald Duck is funnier and more cartoonish than Mickey Mouse!

While the used car salesman stigma is still there for me with Microsoft, I certainly trust them to run an app store far more than I do sleazy companies like Epic. I hope the EU ruling gives Apple the ability to deny app stores from known scammers. As PT Barnum said in a parallel universe: there's a scammer born every minute.
I agree — I trust Microsoft to run an App Store more than I trust most other would-be App Store runners.

But I’m not sure how to deal with the hordes of people I don’t trust. I worry the EU is going to end up hurting my privacy and safety. If that happens, apples next big hit could be the iToldYouSo.
Here's how to deal with hordes of people you don't trust: don't download apps from them. Works every time, try it!
I hope it remains as simple as that. I hope we don't end up with apps siloed in their own app stores. Want Office? Only available on the MS store. Want Lightroom? Only available on the Adobe app store.

I don't want to store my details on multiple stores. I like the walled garden.
