No thanks insidious… But for those that do use it I’m sure Apple is getting paid for infrastructure access.

Apples in house prototyping engineers curating (changing) the foldable screen in a similar manner like tandem OLED, the Cinema Display, or Thunderbolt 5 to their specifications for use in their devices no surprise Apple definitely was not going to use the default. Apple going to change/re-engineer it to their specific needs.

Note: The Tandem OLED screen was changed by LG to Apples specifications, because Samsung (tried a bait and switch) did not want to play ball, Samsung lost the contract for the manufacturing of three quarters of the Tandem OLED screens for the M4 iPad Pro line as a result.
