First Mac Studio M3 Ultra benchmarks significantly outpace the M2 Ultra
The true picture will be known by the end of next week Friday, Saturday at the latest, and Apple is probably using them in the back room for some time for Apple Intelligence right now it is good news that they are releasing and developing something like everyone else I was hoping they would go a little bit faster, but when they announced last year that they were using M2 Studios as servers in the background for Apple Intelligence that meant that they were finally reluctantly getting serious, I’m more interested in is what type of network software is Apple developing in the background to allow many Mac computers to operate together as one in some type of cluster it has always seemed that Apple Is more behind (not working all that hard) in that aspect of computing? Due to profit motive.Apple over the years, seems to be more reluctant (like target video display mode same reason profit) to support multiple Macs being used together as one to accomplish some computer task in comparison to PC or Linux computers like gaming I don’t think it’s because they’re incapable. I also hope with the increasing mind share in the AI area that some developers will start to write software to support increased networking between Macs, someone’s going to do it I hope. -
Apple finally accepts that 64GB is inadequate for iPhones and iPads

Speaking of which will there ever be any new Star Wars games that are as good as Jedi Academy or Jedi outcast from the early 2000’s-2007? -
Apple's mmWave C1 modem won't launch until 2026
Apple has many new devices coming up in the future they want to build, so iteration on the Apple modem and everything else Apple Silicon will continue on…..
As it goes with most things in tech, particularly the way Apple has executed in the last 25 years the design and engineering teams are probably working at least two years ahead, the R2,C2, M4,M5,M6 or some variants have been in the works for some time? -
Apple's extortionate upgrade prices can't stop the MacBook Air being a bargain

It isn’t a sum of the parts cost+ pricing model. It is up to them to define their business model and they have to weigh all the impacts including profitability, competition, sabotaging Mac Book Pro or iMac sales, etc.BTW, I just took a look at pricing for a new BMW 3 series. Ranges from $45K for a 330i base model to $109K or more for the top line M3 series. All essentially the same car with more power, better trim and handling. It surely doesn’t cost them more than twice as much to make the higher model.¯\_(ツ)_/¯BMWs, Porsche, and Mercedes are some of the best cars you can buy and the price is the price usually, when you compare those cars to their competition, particularly outside of Germany, none of them like Apple will ever be mainstream across the world. It’s just not gonna happen, Apple is very influential in the computer industry yes, but being on every corner no (even though it may seem like they are). Being a vertical computer company ultimately makes that impossible. -

I have increasingly been feeling that Apple under Tim Cook has forgotten this.In comparison to who? Their competition? I can think of smaller battery and less memory in an iPhone as being the two big skims if you wanna call it that, but Apple being a vertical computer company will always be able to optimize the memory or the size of the battery (ie.. battery-gate) and precisely control many other things thru software in any of their curated devices.
Apple Silicon, the R1 chip the C1 Apple modem chip, Apple curated tandem OLED with LG (because Samsung didn’t want to step up after initially signing the contract), and Thunderbolt five all cost money, lots of it, particularly if it unique in some way or ends up being the best in class over a period of time.
