    Another potential benefit of the iMac Pro is a VESA kit however the iMac still is only BTO.
    The lack of even a slot for industry standard internal storage is still a huge disincentive for me.
    I also wish actually display WYSIWYG 4K would be available without a hack...
    Given the industrial design from Apple since 2011 it will be interesting to see if a compelling new iMac design is offered,
    and agree the current issue is a paradigm for desktop computing... 
    If it were up to me I suspect I'd take my queue from the 27" Thunderbolt Display, speaking of which...

    ...having finally succumbed to a mac pro tower that I can change a drive in minutes, I have to ask how much of Apple's hardware repairability (seemingly diminished since 2011) is anything other than a proprietary monetary policy...? I have also changed an iPhone 4s battery in minutes, entirely successfully.  One can always choose an Apple authorized dealer if one wants, and for many is that the best choice for reliability, safety, time, cost and efficacy? I usually have taken my cars to the OEM dealer for service for the same reason...

    Hopefully this will improve the ultra wide corner softness and chromatic aberration that I experienced using an Apple store demo.
    Additionally I am hoping the seeming default video cropping in ultra wide mode will revert to full lens angle use...
