I think the response to the U2 album was a wake up call to Tim Cook and others at Apple. In general, I like U2 (the older stuff, mostly), but did not want that slbum being pushed to my devices or added to my library.

Steve Jobs was adamant about privacy and I think Cook got an education when the customers rightly got pissed at that awful U2 album showing up without their consent.

Pay up Scamsung/Samesong. Add in legal fees for losing- which should be substantial.

I would guess that Apple will be getting the tech spot on before they get out on the street and will hopefully have some tech in place to prevent their testers from drifting off and killing someone. 

You mean like the great job they are doing with Siri and Maps?
Apple needs to stay in it’s lane.
They apparently cannot keep both iOS and Mac HW current simultaneously.

Long after I am too old to care, they will have a self driving car that can handle a poorly lit back road with faded stripes, no shoulder and lots of potholes and ponded water at night in the rain.

I work in a licensed healthcare profession and pull call. Sometimes we have to drive in some really hideous weather on roads far less than optimal. There are many others who must, as well. Not expecting a wunderkar any time between now and when I retire in about 10 1/2 years.

We would be far better off investing in public light rail and rapid bus systems in the long run. In making more and better bike lanes. Into taxing sprawl.

The thought of an 80,000 lb Semi driven by a computer scares the crap out of me. That it could be carrying hazardous materials even more so.

I hope tne while thing flames out as neither the Evil Empire of Iger (Disney) or the Craptastic, Bombastic Comcast need more media properties. As for Murdochvision, it should all just hopefully shrivel up and blow away.

America doesnot need more concentration of media- it needs a more competitive market. The content producers and distributors both seem to have formed a cartel and consumers are the ones getting fleeced. 

What would have been hilarious would have been if Murdoch included Fox Noise Channel and Comcast has won tbe bidding war. Then the owner of MSNBC would own TrumpTV - dba Fox “News” Channel aka Not Necessarily The News.

The Alex Jones crowd would have had a cow.
