...should be a wake up call (one of many) to anyone who doesn’t see the European Union trying very hard to turn Europe into a singular centralised governing agency for that entire geographic region. It was so important for the region that the UK get out—not just for the UK, but so that all of the other countries can see it’s possible to leave once they realise what an oppressive disaster unifying Europe under one government will become.

It’s scary how those who hate Trump will immediately believe anything if it means they can direct more hatred toward Trump (ironically while also saying how ‘hate‘ is so terrible...). Only the wilfully blind don’t see that China is a very serious threat. While some want to be diplomatic about it, we can be sure China has no intention of being anything but superficially diplomatic. How can anyone justify their severe religious persecution? Or their clearly deceptive handling of the coronavirus? Or how can anyone with a memory of the history of Hong Kong and the transfer from Britain see China’s actions there as anything remotely resembling appropriate? The list could go on and on...

It seems likely that Apple instead has an approach that is more surprising and better than the anemic and similar products currently available today. To say it has already been done is sort of like saying Apple’s iPad was already done because there were Windows tablets before it. But we’ll see!

Not sure how a company can violate antitrust laws over something which only affects the company’s own market and further when that market isn’t the majority in the larger market...

The sense of entitlement is embarrassing for Basecamp. ‘Hey Apple, we demand you let us use your development tools and app distribution which provides security and quality for users of your platform and which has made many developers a ton of money, but I don’t want to pay you for it because I deserve to use your services for free’.
