  • Japan moves closer to requiring third-party app stores

How is it that all these bureaucrats are overlooking how much of a security risk all these new regulations will create? If I was Apple I would offer 2 versions, IOS Secure, and IOS. Then report how many viruses, malware, and cybercrimes happen to each version. I do not want alternative app stores or to have to give my payment info to a third party.

  • Prepare for a scam gold rush with the App Store changes

I'm old enough to remember Windows Mobile and Windows CE. It sucked having to search all over the internet to find apps and then trust you got the correct site, hoping it wasn't a cloned site and having to trust them with your credit card. Now with more ability to spy on users I will not buy or download an app outside the App Store. It's funny how a judge thinks their decision is actually benefiting consumers. This is another weak-minded attempt to get votes and attention. What's next, writing a bill that requires Amazon to store anything a 3rd party wants to sell in their warehouses, list it on Amazon.com and distribute it all without c

  • Apple isn't done with concessions in iOS to placate the European Union

I hope a company puts an App Store in Epic's App Store and throws a fit about the fees. 😂. How quickly have people forgotten about how buying mobile apps used to be before Apple and the App Store. Searching the net for the company and the app for your phone. Significantly overpaying for the app. Then, when a new version of said app comes out, you have to buy the new version. Apple has helped consumers so much yet people still complain about it.
