    I think you can choose the mute option for the Action Button then your new iPhone will behave exactly like your old one. 
    The issue is that it doesn’t show the status. So if you don’t remember if your phone is muted, you’d have to hit it once to see if you just muted or unmuted it, and then either hit it a second time or not, depending on what its previous status is revealed to be. Not the end of the world, but certainly an awkward step backwards from what we’ve enjoyed for the last 16 years. 
    I think Dewme is correct. The mute status should be visible in the Dynamic Island.

    Not much improvement (very minor tweaks) and they have dropped the ultra original watch face. Get the impression next year we will have carbon neutral plastic watches and cardboard wrist bands if things continue! 

    Anyone stop to think why we are paying the same or even higher prices for other peoples recycled materials! Surly the price should go down as the quality or durability has decreased?  I even read Titanium scratches easily.

    No. I think they said it needed the clever new accelerometer and neural whatnot magic…

    Exactly. And those people aren’t even going to be the ones making a big deal out of this. They represent a small subset of the market. It will be the bloggers and the tech journalists, fishing for clicks, just like JMaille said above.
