Unsurprisingly, Mark Zuckerberg believes Meta Quest 3 is the 'better product, period'

And a lot of the things the AVP does not do right now are clearly going to be available via software updates - the processing power on this thing exceeds that of an iPad Pro, where several such features already exist.
Just like with the iPhone, Apple wants to be sure it has nailed the interaction model and can build on a solid foundation so it can scale to tens (if not hundreds) of millions of users.
As for Zack's comments about the mobile space being 'closed' because of what Apple did... (a) there's a company called Google, you may have heard they have a mobile OS; (b) despite the protestations of several developers there is still money to be made in mobile; (c) a significant number of customers prefer Apple's approach; and (d) Facebook is charging a larger platform fee for the Quest than Apple does for iOS.

It's no surprise that it's more mature and better than Apple's just released Vision Pro. Some of the hardware advantages that Quest 3 has over Vision Pro are more fact than option, such as brighter displays, higher refresh rates, greater field of view, lower weight, better hand tracking, etc. The real question will be how quickly does Vision Pro evolve to overtake the Quest line of headsets, how does the pricing evolve, etc. -
Apple Vision Pro now has 1,000 native apps on the visionOS App Store

Jon Stewart became a problem for Apple TV+

iOS 17.3.1 …. Apple have removed the symbols for male and female but have retained the symbol for Transgender (sic) ⚧️.This is creepy. What on earth are Apple doing? This is remarkably idiotic and a game changer for me as an owner of many iPhones since inception. But I WILL switch to Android if Apple persists on this gaslighting nonsense.
P.S. - Please make sure you understand terms before using them. You’re 100% not being gaslight by Apple. However, there certainly are places you could have brought this up that are undoubtedly more appropriate than here. Also, not for nuthin’, but any fixation on gender symbols that makes someone feel they need to switch computing platforms — that’s super creepy to me. -
