    I’m another.
    Cheers!

This brings up the other me.com accounts as well.
Still rocking my MobileMe me.com email and Apple ID here haha.

  • New Settings in iOS 18 will take some getting used to

So, if I want to modify a particular setting for any app that relates to that setting, I now have to go through a list of every app to turn that setting ON or OFF?  Rather than go to the setting and see what's using it ?  Like, say Camera or Microphone access?

How the "Apps" box organizes app settings is going to be key. Does it just alphabetize the Apps, or the setting functions?
Will Siri be able to produce a list of "every app requesting access to my Photos library" ?
You will still be able to go to Privacy and then Photos, where you will see all the apps with access. This won’t change
That seems to be the case. It just looks like Apple has taken the, for most users, mile long list of individual app settings from the main settings menu and put them down one level in an "Apps" folder if you will. That would make the top level Settings menu a great deal shorter at first glance, and you can just tap on "Apps" to get the mega list of individual app settings back when needed.. No change to the permissions menu.

  • iOS 18 to debut Apple Passwords app

I just discovered that the Passwords built into Settings supports Verification Codes. Not sure how I missed that. I've been slowly migrating all of my codes from the Google Authenticator app over to Passwords. The fact that these codes work seamlessly across macOS and iOS gives me exactly what I need. No more reaching for my phone every time I need to log into a site.
It’s a great feature to be able to generate one time passcodes on device like that! A lifesaver for me when I am out to sea on my ship and trying to login to my iCloud account, on a government computer, without the ability to receive a text or push notification to my devices. I leave my MacBook Pro’s local time in automatic and generate my codes there because the algorithm used to generate those codes is seeded with time and date information. If you change either manually it will cease to work lol. (I change my iPhone’s manually as we change time zones because it also functions as my alarm clock haha). Good stuff!

  • Netflix is finally killing off support for 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TVs

Still using a third gen on occasion.  A lot of apps don’t work on them.
Was using my last one at home until it bit the dust last summer. Put an AppleTV 4K in the living room and relegated that 4th gen one to guest room duty instead. Man, I can't believe Ive had those 4th gen ones since 2015-2016 wow lol.

  • Apple updates iPadOS, but just to fix something on only the iPad 10

Uh, that illustration is an iPad that doesn’t exist.
Scrolled down to note the same. Like a mock up of what 10th gen might look like from 3 years ago lol?
