And what do you do with that? What does this do to battery life? Can you put one image across both screens? Launch one screen on the top, and then one to the bottom to compare, say, something you want to buy from Amazon? Or two TV models? Maybe. But wouldn't you save that for a tablet or a home computer?

    Seems gimmicky.\

I'm holding out for a phone with dual chiclet keyboards. Then I can fumble my typing twice as much.

A kingdom of serfs more like it. Unsuspecting dupes waiting to be raped of their privacy by an evil monarch.

    No thanks.

I had my Evo for about six months and in that time I got four fairly large updates. One of them being Froyo. The newer Android phones get fairly regular updates.

So, you're saying Android is fragmented?

That really has very little impact on people that don't own old cheap models using Android.

On solid hardware Android woks really well. While not exactly the same situation its kind of like someone trying to install the current iOS on an iPhone 3G. The hardware can't handle the software.

Same is true with Android. You can't own a two year old HTC Hero and expect Android 2.2 to run on it.

I can't speak for older versions of Android but 2.2 has been rock solid in my opinion. To me the biggest issues is now the Android market works. It really sucks.

Well said, my thoughts exactly. At least 2 maybe 2.5 times the size of a single screen phone.

So I can see a market for new shirts with over sized pockets.

Guess guys can carry them in their skateboard creed front pocket

to impress the females. This scream total failure.

No matter hook up 2 or 3 batteries in series so you can use the damn thing.

Seriously who is the retard who designs this utter garbage.

I am being extra kind here for this mutant android spawn.

I think it is more likely that China Telecom gets a deal before Sprint.

??? AT&T and Verzon's are different iPhones and not compatible with each other's networks to start with. What rumor and where? Do you always comment before you read and comprehend what you are commenting on?

Sure but with Apple, the maker of the OS and the hardware are one and the same so they alone determine which OS runs on which hardware, unlike Android, where the maker of the hardware decides which OS version to start from and then modifies it to their liking without regard to what kind of device the OS maker originally intended it to run on. One OS maker has complete control of the final product, the other has no control once the source code leaves their repository.

Maybe this wasn't the right thread for humor (humour, for the English speakers among us) without a smiley.

Why do people always project their own deficiencies onto humankind? Most people can multi-task, but it sort of depends on what the tasks are. You probably should not try to drink and drive.

AppleInsider does not necessarily mean AppleChearleader- you may want to note that. Inside news about Apple and its products does not imply it's only for fan-atics.

Easily broken, we don't know that. Awkward to use, Nintendo sells gameboys like this. Ugly, yes.

i'm 99% sure your wrong about the phones radio using all the battery. its the processor and screen or my old nokia that went for a week without charging would get the same BL as my iphone 4. this will be hammering the processor multi tasking like that and using twice the power for twice the screen. if there was a lower powered screen that didnt look like a kindle, apple would be useing it. i think the spare battery is a bit of a give away. but that means powering off and swapping it out every 4 or 5 hours. i think this is a bit of a gimmicky. i also think typing on that second touch screen while its open will be a pain. sorry to contradict you. just throwing my hat into the ring.

He has hit the nail on the head. All the OTHER networks are far left. What seems to bug the libs is that Fox, who does lean right, is kicking ALL of them in the rear.

Just like Apple is kicking rear because of their superior phones, pads, pods, etc., maybe Fox is doing so well because they are superior. There can't be that many knuckle draggers out there. Libs just hate it that Fox is successful and MSNBC, CNN, Gore's Network (is it still on?), ABC, NBC and CBS aren't doing well.

And I'm sure it bugs them that Rush Limbaugh uses Apple products.

    Deal with it.

thats kinda off topic. not everyone who follows apple insider is american. i'm sure theres another site you can go to and wave your little flag around all you want.
