I killed a six-pack at a birthday party last night. Is that wrong?

It didn't cry... and damn it tasted good.

My white cat is dying, there is nothing we can do for him. It was a british white cat, and one of the most sympathic cat i ever know.

Unfortunately dispate our cares, he did not resist to his kidney diseases. I a am astonished he is not already dead. It's just a skeleton, he is unconscious and he just breathes.

We did not have the time, to bring him to the specialized doctor for shorten his pain. However it's perhaps better that he die in his beloved home.

Even if it's only a cat, i am very sad.

There's no show on TV that makes me more angry and soooo sad at the same time than that Animal Precinct on the Animal Planet channel.

The one episode where the chain collar has grown into the skin of a dog because it was too tight for far too long just annihilates me everytime.

Perhaps the soothing words of fictional character Lisa Simpson can help (i mean no disrepect, i just love quoting simpsons).

    "I had a cat named Snowball --

    She died! She died!

Mom said she was sleeping --

    She lied! She lied!

Why oh why is my cat dead?

Couldn't that Chrysler hit me instead?"

    .

i had a cat that died a few years ago. he went pretty slowly, of lung cancer. he barely even smoked . it was sad when he died. then we got 2 new ones, and we quickly buried the sad memory of his passing.

of course, i don't like any animals to suffer for having their tails, beaks, legs mutilated by man. or the idea of the animals never seeing sunlight in their life, or being boosted full of antibiotics during their short life before they are massacr.. transformed to beefs.

    (think vegetarian.)

If you can't bring yourself to mine the coal you've got no business asking someone else to do it for you and probably shouldn't be turning on your heater or flipping on a lightswitch.

Actually you guys are confused. The treatment of animals in slaughter houses and farms prior to killing is far worse than mutilating a tail, especially considering the end results.

Eating an animal is just fine, but if you're going to be so hypocritical as to say trimming a tail is worse than the treatment chickens, pigs and cows get prior to their slaughter then you're a $$$$ing shithead, or a jerk. Or you're a simpleton. Or blind. Etc....

    does it make it right?

with you're argument you are justifying cruelty to animals simply because others are exposed to cruelty as well.

i don't want any animal to be mutilated. this story of the dog getting its tail chopped off by scissors in a barber's office is digusting and easier to attack and charge. i don't want chickens pigs and cows to be mistreated either.

i really dont see the point of your argument other than to try and cause a stir.

    im just curious

if a dog attacks a person....do you support that they are euthanized?

happens basically 100% of the time.

i don't really see what purpose euthanizing the animal serves to be honest.

i do think the dog's owner should be held accountable if it were his/her fault (no leash, etc)

Well, for a bunch of borderline looney PC lefties that always whine about mudslinging and attack campaigns of the Republican party, you guys sure as hell don't mind using the same tactics when it suits your own cause.

I *FULLY* agree with owner accountability, and in some cases don't think that it does any good to put down the animal. (Putting down the *owner* in many cases I think would do the world more good...) But there are those cases where the animal is just plain too dangerous to the general public to spend resources on housing safely, when there are other more needful things we could spending that money on, like education.

yeah, the problem with putting down the animal if it ever bites someone is that often times it's not really the "fault" per se of the animal.

often times parents w/o pets don't teach their kids how to understand the body language and actions of animals. therefore they approach animals the wrong way and get bitten. (usually nipped, not bitten, but that's just as scary to most kids)

(this does not include maulings etc. from dogs that have been abused, that's another story)

bunge, you're a $$$$ing idiot. find me a post where people say it's fine to abuse animals as long as you're going to eat them.

i swear you make a concerted effort to be thick.
