SGI has been major supplier for CAD, Virtual reality, Multimedia Server, and Many professional area. And As a member of PIXAR, we bought many of their system and I liked it.
We are buying SGI with one apple stock with 10 SGI stock !
After we got the approve from SEC, APPLE will reorganized to two division !
First Division is Macintosh Division. It will be charge with Consumer & Pro-sumer Market!
Second Division is SGI Division. It will be charge with Professional Market and Server Market.
We will be using ALL SGI?s technology into Macintosh in the future and SGI Division?s system will use New OS X Pro OS in the future Also SGI division will change all of their CPU to PowerPC base system in the future!
And we are terminating NT & Linux base system development soon and We will convert these system with Darwin base OS.
Now I will show this APPLE?s SGI system can do!
He show Fast 3D graphic capability of Onyx 3000 with MAYA And Virtual reality S/W !

I enjoy Kormac's threads for their interesting ideas and posts but no one at this point has any reason to think he's more special than the rest of us. Kormac has been making guesses, albeit educated ones with al those links he throws at us, for probably 2 years now. People still think he has inside info. This expo won't change that attitude. Enjoy his posts for what they are.
if you are right about apple buying sgi on a ten for one stock swap there are going to be some pretty po'd speculators out there who paid 3 dollars a share for their sgi stock. Apple closed at under 24.

But for APPLE, to get into this area will take too much time consuming and very costly.
