Apple makes products which look fantastic, are all integrated, are astonishingly well designed and made and produce extremely high quality results.  This applies to hardware and software. There is a price to be paid for all of this, of course, and it would seem a lot of people are prepared to pay that premium. There is nothing else to compare with the range of Apple products.  There may be better individual products but everything Apple produces goes with everything else it produces.  Having said that, there are gaps and as other posters have said, a home tv/sound system is missing. I have been hoping Apple would produce an Apple quality tv since Steve Jobs first proposed the idea years ago.  Just imagine what that could do, in conjunction with the other Apple products!

I think I’ll sue manufacturers of CDs and DVDs. The reason: when I was 9 (nearly 60 years ago) I wrote a sci-fi story for homework which included film stored on a small silver disk. I also invented an invisible door controlled by laser. Stuff couldn’t get in or out whilst the laser was on. Has anyone actually made that? If so, I’m coming after you. 

Here we go again. Another pathetic attempt to extort money from Apple for being successful.

The only problem with the ad (aside from a Disney tie in) is that the folks using the iPads are not doing the jobs as those on the PCs. 

This looks like Apple carrying the can for something it absolutely wouldn’t condone or even know anything about.  It appears anonymity was agreed and then breached so Apple loses out again. The sum paid seems totally disproportionate as well. There are so many instances of very large companies paying out, simply because they have money. It’s not very fair.
