    Ah, sorry. I missed the detailed example of what you wanted to do — the quote was collapsed. 

    I’m not sure that particular task is possible in Numbers. To be fair, I’ve never tried to do it in Pages, either.

    Manufacturers generally do not lease their products. They sell them to financial services (often, but not always, subsidiary companies) that then lease them to customers. 

    That counts as a sale.

    AFAIK, every device or car that is leased is first sold to the company that's doing the actual leasing.

    That may be a subsidiary of the manufacturer, but it's a financial service company that owns the machine.
