Just banking on AI without a real purpose is crazy. Good AI is invisible and solves real problems. Bad AI is just making the non-technical Wall Street people happy, through gimmicky functionality, without doing anything really useful. Of course there is another class of AI, but it’s hard to know from the outside whether it is AI or algorithm. 

Taiwan is a very important technology manufacturing location, as this article indicates. Many motherboard manufacturers are also located in Taiwan, so it won’t just be Apple impacted by the earthquake. 

Without iCloud support 128GB isn't much, but coupled with iCloud storage and an internet connection it actually works out to be enough in many cases. I say this, because the phone will quietly offload images and videos to the cloud when the images and videos start reaching a certain threshold.

Where the storage fails is if you are an app hoarder or a music buff that needs stuff to stay on the phone. Or... you are dealing with apps that create large files without any auto-offloading support.

Though hoping improvements in Apple's chips isn't solely dependant on the 2nm process. Single core improvements will be appreciated, since not all processing can benefit from more cores.

I wonder how much of this is Apple being abusive and how much of this is down to Masimo being greedy with the terms of the licensing? Is anyone aware of these details?
